West Dell

West Dell, one of the Dell of Abernethy Cottages. There is no evidence as to where John lived other than Dell. However this is typical of the cottages currently remaining in the area, though these cottages have been renovated and are now used as holiday lets.

1. John¹ Robinson, son of ----- Robertson, was born in Abernethy ABT 1761. He died July 17, 1839 in Edinburgh, at 78 years of age.

He married Ann Stuart Dell, po Abernethy, September 24, 1795. Ann was born 1767, and died March 26, 1856 at 88 years of age.

John Robinson and Ann Stuart had the following children:

2 i. Alexander² Robertson was born Dell, po Abernethy September 11, 1797. He was christened in Dell, Abernethy, October 19, 1797. Alexander died August 21, 1865 Lethendry ?, at 67 years of age.

+ 3 ii. Peter Robertson was born October 6, 1799.

+ 4 iii. James Robertson was born March 22, 1802.

5 iv. John Robertson was born Clachaig, po Abernethy February 17, 1804. He was christened po Abernethy, February 19, 1804. John was alive 1851.

6 v. Margaret Robertson was born Clachaig, po Abernethy September 17, 1806. She was christened Clachaig, po Abernethy, September 21, 1806.

7 vi. Anne Robertson was born Clachaig, po Abernethy April 20, 1809. She was christened Clachaig, po Abernethy, May 7, 1809.
