Introduction

This group of Skirvings, are on my maternal side, and I am attempting to identify a link with William Skirving, one of the 'Scottish Martyrs', who married Rachel Abercrombie in 1775, and farmed at Strathruddie, in Fife, before being found guilty of sedition and sentenced to transportation for 14 years to Botany Bay.
