1. Joseph¹ Glover was born ca 1759, and died June 19, 1839 in Dumfries, at 79 years of age.

He married Janet McNaught in Troqueer, June 01, 1781. Janet was born in Dumfries (Troqueer) January 28, 1757, and was the daughter of Robert McKNAIGHT and Margaret McKie. Janet died February 03, 1795 at 38 years of age.

Joseph Glover and Janet McNaught had the following children:

2 i. Mary² Glover was born in Dumfries April 14, 1782. She was christened in Dumfries, April 14, 1782.

3 ii. Robert Glover was born in Dumfries July 09, 1784, and was christened in Dumfries, July 09, 1784. He married Jean Coultart in Dumfries (Troqueer), November 14, 1810. Jean was born ca 1775.

4 iii. Andrew Glover was born in Dumfries February 11, 1787. He was christened in Dumfries, February 11, 1787.

+ 5 iv. Joseph Glover was born ca 1795.
